NEW PURCHASE PRICES FOR SILVER-PLATED GOODS

Due to the considerably increased silver price, silver-plated resp. stamped goods  would also be worth while recycling.
We are ready to purchase your silver-plated goods such as cutlery and tableware which are stamped e. g. 80 / 90 or 100. However, knives have to be selected as they are handled separately.

Cadmium ban on brazing solder as per EU Regulations

As of 10 December 2011 the use as well as the circulation of brazing solder with a cadmium content of over 0.01 % by weight will be banned throughout the EU.

This means that our solder customers will no longer be allowed to store and process any brazing solder containing cadmium. Brazing solder here stands for brazing as joining technique processing alloys at temperatures exceeding 450° C and not for the categories L1, L2 and L3 (easy-flowing, medium-flowing and heavy-flowing).

Therefore, as from 10 Dec. 2011 we will solely and self-actingly supply Cd-free brazing solder in the form of ingots or wire.

In the event of current demand, we would recommend that you switch for cadmium-free brazing solder very soon. For this purpose we assure you to be of assistance to you whenever necessary.

 
AN ANNEX TO OUR HEADQUARTER

It's only been two years - back in 2009 - that we opened our new company headquarters in Dietlingen. And now, here we are again, planning an annex to the existing building of about the same size - this time with a part-basement. This has become necessary mainly due to the growing demands of our refining business.

On top of this, we are planning to accommodate further core competencies under our own roof.

So, the new building is only supposed to be for technical extensions and will be fully operating as from the beginning of 2012.
