2. How do we process your data in inquiries via the "contact" function?

You can enter your personal data on our internet pages in order to contact us. Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory fields. Providing additional data may be helpful for processing your request more efficiently, but it is not mandatory (voluntary information). The data you provide will be used and stored with your consent only for the purpose of processing your message (legal basis is article 6 para. 1 p. 1 a) DSGVO).

3. How do we process data that you give us when ordering or using a customer account?

In order to place an order, you must create a user account. To do this, you must provide your company, your name and address, your e-mail address and your telephone number (mandatory information). We process this data for the purpose of carrying out your order and for the necessary communication with you. The legal basis is the data processing for the implementation of pre-contractual measures on your request (article 6 para 1 p. 1 b) DSGVO).

By entering additional data you can support us in processing your order. However, it is not necessary (voluntary information).

We use the data provided by you exclusively for the aforementioned purposes.

4. How do we process your data, which you transmit to us in the context of employment applications?

We are pleased if you are interested in an employment in our company and facilitate the email address we have set up for such purposes (Personal@burger-edelmetalle.de) or use other contact options to send us your data in the context of an application. Your data will be processed internally by us solely for the evaluation of your application for the initiation of an employment contract. Data processing is carried out for the implementation of pre-contractual measures on your request (legal basis: article 6 para. 1 p. 1 b) DSGVO).

5. Who receives your personal data from us?

We will forward your data to the relevant employees in our company to answer your request or order. As far as it is necessary for the processing of an order or request, we pass on your data to the company Burger & Gyr AG, which is affiliated with us. We do not pass on your data to third parties or other companies except to the logistics companies responsible for carrying out a shipment of goods by us.

Apart from this, no transfer of your data to third parties takes place. We do not carry out data processing in countries outside Germany.

9.7. Facebook-,CustomAudiences and Facebook-Marketing-Services

Within our online offer, due to our legitimate interests in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer we deploy the so-called "Facebook pixel" -s of the social network Facebook, which is developed by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are resident in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook").

 Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active). With the help of the Facebook pixel, Facebook is able to identify the visitors of our online offer as the target group for the presentation of advertisements (so-called "Facebook ads"). Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads posted by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined by the websites visited) that we submit to Facebook (so-called "Custom Audiences"). If you then log in to Facebook or visit Facebook in a logged-in state, the visit to our online offer will be noted in your profile. The data collected about you is anonymous to us, so we do not provide any conclusions about the identity of the users.
